{"id":2230,"date":"2016-09-14T09:21:29","date_gmt":"2016-09-14T08:21:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/?p=2230"},"modified":"2017-02-02T17:35:30","modified_gmt":"2017-02-02T16:35:30","slug":"team-management-in-yanado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/team-management-in-yanado\/","title":{"rendered":"Team Management in Yanado"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>This article is part of our <a href=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/how-to-use-yanado\/\">How To Yanado<\/a> series.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yanado Settings are now enhanced with the Team page, to help easily manage all the Users and Lists from your team or company.<\/p>\n<p>As a Yanado user you can be a regular user on the team, or you can be a Super Admin of your team.<\/p>\n<p>(<strong>IMPORTANT<\/strong>: users who are upgraded as a company in Yanado, are also super admins who have the advantage of managing all the Lists and Users in the company &#8211; find more about this <a href=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/how-to-upgrade-as-a-company-in-yanado\/\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>When you are a<\/strong> <strong>regular user<\/strong> on the team in Yanado you will be able to use the Team Page in Yanado Settings for the following options:<\/p>\n<p>View an overview of all the Users from your team. From here, you\u2019ll be able to select a User who you want to add or remove from the Lists you are the Owner of.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2235\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/OLyS33TQ5D.gif\" alt=\"Users Page - Yanado\" width=\"690\" height=\"237\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>View an overview of all the Lists which you are the owner of. Here, you\u2019ll be able to choose the List from which you want to add or remove the users at once.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2236\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/wYrveUF3VS.gif\" alt=\"Lists - Yanado\" width=\"690\" height=\"151\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>When you\u2019re a Super Admin<\/strong> of your team in Yanado, you will be able to use the Team Page in Yanado Settings for the following options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add and remove multiple Users from the chosen List at once.<\/li>\n<li>Add and remove a chosen User from multiple Lists at once.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Super Admins can also manage the owners of all the Lists inside the company, which makes it possible to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set the owners as the administrators of the multiple Lists<\/li>\n<li>Take over the ownership of the multiple Lists<\/li>\n<li>Assign the ownership of the Lists to another User in the Company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Adding Users from the Team Page<\/h2>\n<p>Adding new Users directly inside the Team Page can simply be done by entering their email addresses.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2233\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/m2K0fzqb57.gif\" alt=\"Add new user - Yanado\" width=\"690\" height=\"323\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another way is to import Users from the CSV file.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2234\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/9wF5nuhkYC.gif\" alt=\"Import users - Yanado\" width=\"690\" height=\"322\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Removing Users from the Team in Yanado Team Page<\/h2>\n<p>Removing users from the team directly from the Team Page in Yanado Settings is done simply as you open the Users Page. There you\u2019ll be able to see all the current users on the team, and to remove a particular user, you\u2019ll simply choose the user you want to remove, and then click on the \u201cRemove User From Team\u201d action.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2325\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Remove-User-from-the-team.gif\" alt=\"remove-user-from-the-team\" width=\"690\" height=\"267\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"managing-users\" >Managing Users in Yanado Team Page<\/h2>\n<h3>Adding and removing users<\/h3>\n<p>To add or remove a particular user from the List, you will go to the Users page inside the Team Page in Yanado settings. From there you\u2019ll be able to choose a particular user on the team whom you can manage.<\/p>\n<p>As you click on the \u201cmanage user\u201d action, a window will open up from where you\u2019ll be able to see which Lists the chosen user is currently a member of (right side), and which Lists a User is not the member of (left side), which are available for this User to be added in.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2326\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Manage-User.png\" alt=\"manage-user\" width=\"690\" height=\"319\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Adding a user in available Lists<\/h3>\n<p>To add a particular user on the List, you\u2019ll simply select the Lists from the available Lists shown on the left side of the window and then click on the \u201cADD\u201d option.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2327 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/add-user-on-the-list.gif\" alt=\"add-user-on-the-list\" width=\"690\" height=\"336\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can also select all the available Lists at once.<\/p>\n<p>You do this as you click on the checkbox \u201cName\u201d on the top of the available Lists.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2328\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/add-user-on-the-list-at-once.gif\" alt=\"add-user-on-the-list-at-once\" width=\"690\" height=\"307\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This action will add this User in all the available Lists at once.<\/p>\n<p>Adding a user to the Lists you\u2019ve selected will make him\/her a member of that List. The selected Lists will then show up on the right side of the window together with the names of other Lists the user is currently a member of.<\/p>\n<p>A User whom you\u2019ve added to the List will automatically receive an email notification as an invitation to the List.<\/p>\n<h3>Removing a User from the Lists<\/h3>\n<p>To remove a chosen user from the List, you\u2019ll simply select the List from the Lists this user is currently a member of, which are shown on the right side of the window, and then click on the \u201cREMOVE\u201d option.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2329\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/remove-a-user-from-the-list.gif\" alt=\"remove-a-user-from-the-list\" width=\"690\" height=\"334\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This action will remove this user from the Lists you\u2019ve selected. The selected Lists will then show up on the left side of the window together with the names of other Lists a User is not the member of.<\/p>\n<p>You can also select all the Lists a User is currently a member of at once,<\/p>\n<p>You do this as you click on the checkbox \u201cName\u201d on the top of the Lists a user is currently a member of.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2330\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/remove-a-user-from-the-list-at-once.gif\" alt=\"remove-a-user-from-the-list-at-once\" width=\"690\" height=\"308\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This action will remove this User from all those Lists at once.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Managing Lists in Yanado Team Page<\/h2>\n<p>As mentioned above, once you open the Lists Page in Team Page settings, you be able to see all the Lists you are the owner of. To be able to manage the Lists you are the owner of, you\u2019ll have to choose a particular List and then click on some of the following actions.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2331\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Lists-Page.gif\" alt=\"lists-page\" width=\"690\" height=\"253\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Manage List<\/h2>\n<p>The first action you can click on is \u201cManage List\u201d, which will make it possible for you to manage users of this List.<\/p>\n<p>Once you click on this action, the window will show up, where you\u2019ll have an overview of all the users who are currently members of the chosen List (on the right side) and of all the other users on the team, who currently are not members of this List (on the left side)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2332\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/manage-list.png\" alt=\"manage-list\" width=\"690\" height=\"309\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Adding users to the List<\/h3>\n<p>To add a user on the List, you\u2019ll have to select a particular user from the users who currently are not members of this List (left side of the window) and then click on the \u201cADD\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2333\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/manage-list-1.gif\" alt=\"manage-list-1\" width=\"690\" height=\"305\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Or you can select all these users (from the left side) at once, by clicking on the checkbox \u201cName\u201d, in order to add all these users on the List.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2334\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/manage-list-2.gif\" alt=\"manage-list-2\" width=\"690\" height=\"303\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Removing users from the List<\/h3>\n<p>To remove a user from the List, you\u2019ll have to select a particular user from the users who are currently members of this List (right side of the window), and then click on the \u201cREMOVE\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2335\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/manage-list-3.gif\" alt=\"manage-list-3\" width=\"690\" height=\"330\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Or you can select all these users (from the right side) at once, by clicking on the checkbox \u201cName\u201d, in order to remove all the current users from the List.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2336\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/manage-list-4.gif\" alt=\"manage-list-4\" width=\"690\" height=\"305\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Changing List Owner<\/h2>\n<p>When you click on the action \u201cChange List Owner\u201d you be able to change the Owner of the selected List, which you\u2019re currently the Owner of.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2337 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/change-list-owner.png\" alt=\"change-list-owner\" width=\"438\" height=\"453\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To change the owner of the chosen List, you\u2019ll simply need to select a particular User from your Team, inside the window that shows up.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2338 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/change-list-owner-2.gif\" alt=\"change-list-owner-2\" width=\"436\" height=\"469\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Exporting Tasks<\/h2>\n<p>To export the tasks from the chosen List you\u2019ll have to click on the \u201cExport Tasks\u201d action.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2339\" src=\"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/export-tasks.png\" alt=\"export-tasks\" width=\"690\" height=\"245\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This action will export all the tasks from the List in a .csv file.
