{"id":2194,"date":"2016-09-09T15:04:32","date_gmt":"2016-09-09T14:04:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/?p=2194"},"modified":"2016-09-12T12:52:00","modified_gmt":"2016-09-12T11:52:00","slug":"google-calendar-integration-settings-in-yanado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yanado.com\/blog\/google-calendar-integration-settings-in-yanado\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Calendar Integration Settings in Yanado"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>This article is part of our <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress-hkkw8swk4oockww0kc8kskco.37.27.115.168.sslip.io\/how-to-use-yanado\/\" target=\"_blank\">How To Yanado<\/a> series.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Google Calendar integration with Yanado is now enhanced with few more improvements.<\/p>\n<p>You will find some great options that will help you to use Google Calendar for keeping up with important due dates you set in Yanado.<\/p>\n<p>So, let\u2019s see what those are.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Google Calendar Settings<\/h2>\n<p>Once you go to Yanado Settings and open Google Calendar you\u2019ll be able to set a default option for how you\u2019re Lists and due dates will be set and organized in Google Calendar.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2195\" src=\"http:\/\/wordpress-hkkw8swk4oockww0kc8kskco.37.27.115.168.sslip.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/imageedit_2_2850805908.png\" alt=\"Yanado Google Calendar Settings\" width=\"690\" height=\"334\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the Lists you create in Yanado you\u2019ll be able to choose:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Whether you want a new Google Calendar to be created by default for each new Yanado List you create;<\/li>\n<li>Or if you want to use a single Google Calendar for all the Lists you create. This Google Calendar is yanado.com.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For due dates you set for tasks in Yanado, you\u2019ll be able to choose:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you want a Google Calendar event to be created by default for each due date set.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In case you don\u2019t want this as a default, you\u2019ll still be able to create a Google Calendar event for a particular due date. So if you set a due date for a particular task, you\u2019ll use a \u201cCustom\u201d option from the dropdown menu, where you\u2019ll be able to set a date and choose to have an event created in Google Calendar.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2197 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/wordpress-hkkw8swk4oockww0kc8kskco.37.27.115.168.sslip.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/imageedit_2_5784088194.png\" alt=\"Google Calendar Event Yanado\" width=\"475\" height=\"415\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Updates are Synced Between Yanado and Google Calendar<\/h2>\n<p>When you remove a due date for the task, the event in Google Calendar which refers to that due date will also be removed.<\/p>\n<p>When you change the due date for the task, the event in Google Calendar which refers to that due date will also be changed.<\/p>\n<p>When you delete the event from the Calendar, the due date which refers to that event will also be removed upon reloading of the list or Yanado.<\/p>\n<p>When you delete the task, the event in Google Calendar which refers to that task will also be removed.<\/p>\n<p>When you archive the task, the event in Google Calendar which refers to that task will be removed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Adding and Removing a User from the Calendar<\/h2>\n<p>When you invite a new user in the List, that user will also get an invitation to the Calendar used for that List.<\/p>\n<p>When you remove a user from the List, that user will also be removed from the Calendar.
